Quinta de Santa Margarida is composed of 7 farm tourism units with seven master suites, two villas, two family suites, two junior suites, and a wood cabin. You may choose to spend your stay in one of these villas: the Palacete, an old manor house now restored, or the Villa das Artes, a modern style building with cutting edge decoration.
One of our accommodation options results from the renovation of a 19th-century palace, now transformed into a luxurious local accommodation recently restored. Palacete keeps the memory of a noble time and stands out by the valorization of tradition, history, and refinement. The marbled floors, high ceilings, wooden gates, suspended chandeliers, oil paintings, and Renaissance furniture recreate a place from other ages. Poetic in nature, it takes us back to ancient times of Portuguese culture in the style of Eça de Queirós or Fernando Pessoa and his heteronyms. The property also includes, in contrast, a modern-styled building – Villa das Artes – with a cutting-edge decoration of vast spaces and large-scale decorative pieces that recreate a contemporary and stripped-down universe of the intense reality in which we live.
